Claude Code

Claude Code is Anthropic's AI that runs in your terminal and can actually do things: run code, read files, fetch pages, and write the results to a spreadsheet. It's the difference between asking a chatbot a question and handing a capable assistant a task.

Why it matters

Every play on this site runs through Claude Code. It's what reads a messy web page and pulls out the clean fields, loops through hundreds of companies, and saves the output. You describe what you want in plain English and it writes and runs the steps.

When to reach for it

Always. It's the foundation. The other tools on this page are things Claude Code reaches for when it needs them.

Worth knowing

You connect extra abilities to Claude Code through small add-ons called MCPs (think of them as plugins that give it new powers, like browsing or searching). Most plays here use one or two.
